Copy or apply attributes to an object

The following properties are copied or applied during Eyedropper and Paint Bucket actions in Microsoft® Expression Blend™:

• Brushes   Foreground, Background, Border Brush, Fill, Stroke, and Opacity Mask
• Appearance   Opacity, Stroke Thickness, Stroke Miter Limit, Stroke Start Line Cap, Stroke End Line Cap, Stroke Line Join, and Stroke Dash Cap
• Text   Font Family, Font Size, Font Weight, Font Style, Text Decorations, Line Height, Text Indent, and Text Alignment

To copy properties from a selected object and apply those properties to another object

1. Select the object or objects to which you want to apply attributes.
2. On the Toolbox, click the Eyedropper tool. Notice that the cursor changes to an eyedropper .
3. Click the object from which you want to copy attributes. The attributes will automatically be applied to the object or objects that you selected in Step 1.

To apply properties

1. Select the object or objects to which you want to apply attributes.
2. On the Toolbox, click the Paint Bucket tool. Notice that the cursor changes to a paint bucket .
3. Click an object from which you want to copy attributes, and then click any number of additional objects to apply the attributes. Notice that the attributes stay saved in the Paint Bucket tool until you set different properties in the Properties panel.
